Hi all dear Italian fans - I am the one behind the original idea and thought about to share a list of the first results and tell something more interesting about this project!
As you might have noticed, you are not able to see more answers than 100 first ones, but the good thing is, all survey answers will be saved (even past that one hundred!), and what I and Stephan of eltonfan.net are going to do is to wait until we've had all surveys open for enough long time so that all potential answers have appeared, and then buy a feature from SurveyMonkey for one month and then we will be able to reveal the complete results (all answers that have appeared will be then counted in). So, don't be afraid of the limit, answer as many surveys as you can and want, your votes will be counted in the end!
Before we get to that point, many months will pass and I thought it would be nice to sum up some results. So, I have two lists for you, and also the average scores for the albums. I decided not to mix the results of the first week with the results of the weeks 7, 8 and 9 because I believe that Wonderful Crazy Night received more favorable ratings because it is the newest album (for instance, wouldn't it be quite strange if "England And America" was higher in the list than "My Father's Gun"!).
Oh and one more thing - we recognized that someone has managed to answer multiple times from two different IP addresses, making the results look false. It is an absolute rule that only one survey answer is allowed per person. Thankfully it hasn't been problematic to remove those cheat answers manually. And hopefully the cheater will understand that the tryout to manipulate the average scores towards the person's own taste won't work - the cheat answers will get deleted sooner or later.
Anyway, in the future when forthcoming albums get 100 answers I will bring the results for you! I won't try to write the complete list as a message, so you'll just see the results of those albums previously not shown. I'm planning to reveal the results for Friends, 17-11-70, Madman and Honky Chateau as soon as the number of answers reach that number (and the cheat answers have been deleted...) next. And in addition to that, I will post a link to a file where you can see the complete results so far (all albums included with the exception of Wonderful Crazy Night).
